If that little bar at the bottom is getting a little too red for your liking or your friends are getting emails bounced back to them saying that you are out of space, we have a fix for that. Actually two!
1. Clearing space: Log into your webmail at www.sitemasonmail.com (using your email address and password). After deleting emails (this moves them to the trash folder), make sure to hit the "purge" icon off to the right of your trash folder to permanently delete them from your mail storage.

Note: If you have set your account up as a POP account in a 3rd party email program (Outlook, MacMail, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc), you may have it set to leave a copy of emails on the server. So you can also check the program's settings to ensure that it no longer saves a copy or adjust the settings to have it delete items off of the server after X number of days.
OR
2. We can upgrade your storage for you! Most mailboxes start at a base storage of 1000MB but for an additional $1.00 per month, we can upgrade that by 1GB (doubling your base mailbox size in additional storage!)

But if like my agency you have a records retention policy which includes emails going back a ways, you might want to "save" or "archive" all the emails that you want to delete off of Sitemason webmail, You can choose specific files or groups of files, then right click > Zip the files. This creates a zip file with the emails inside of them (in *.eml format). Save that file to your hard drive. Then you can go ahead and delete & purge emails off of Sitemason to recover some space, knowing you have copies of the emails safe on your hard drive.
Thanks for that additional info Dave! That should help out quite a few folks.
