I have been sneaking in some minor, and not so minor, features here and there.
New Beta Photo Gallery
The new version of the Photo Gallery is almost ready. It is completely usable, but may be a little rough around the edges. It uses the new interface that is in Calendar and News. To try it out, add an old photo gallery or go to an existing one and look for the Upgrade tab. Read the warnings. If it ends up not displaying properly, there is a Downgrade item in the Gallery menu. Let me know what you think. P.S. It still needs a multi-file uploader and manual ordering of items.
Improved export options in Custom Form
I redid the download/export options in the Custom Form. Before, they were clunky and didn't work consistently across all browsers. Now, not only are they more streamlined, but you can specify a date range to export. You can still download as tab-delimited, CSV, and Excel, but there is a new option, PDF. A PDF is generated for each record that crudely represents each record within the form as if you had printed each one. This can be useful, if you need to have people sign something later or if you just need to store something printable in someone's files. The PDFs are all zipped into one file for convenient downloading.
SMTP with SSL - Secure email from Sitemason
You can now have email from your Sitemason Custom Forms or any other mail from Sitemason tools sent securely. This is especially helpful if you want to send personal information in email. Under User Preferences, you have been able to specify a server and authentication for SMTP for awhile. Now, you can specify the port and enable SSL. Of course, that only covers the sending of the mail. The person receiving the mail needs to be checking securely for this feature to be meaningful.
